Industry Leaders Will Drive Energy Tax and Fuel Supply Strategies

HOUSTON -- (September 8, 2009) -- FuelQuest, Inc., the leading on-demand software and services company for the global downstream energy industry, announced today the finalization of the FuelQuest Advisory Board. This independent body, representing industry leading companies, provides guidance concerning business strategy, market development opportunities and product direction.  Board members cover a broad range of global energy experience with participation from the following industry segments: audit and tax consulting, convenience and fuel retail, energy trading and risk management, fleet card and fleet management, and petroleum transportation and logistics.

  • Rich Cilento, chairman of the FuelQuest Advisory Board and original FuelQuest founder, co-founder of The Bollard Group and who brings a broad range of experience from his years with Xerox Corp, XLConnect Solutions and NASA, where he was responsible for redesigning the Mission Control Center and implementing NASA's Software Management Plan.
  • Mike Forbes, vice president, KAG Logistics has over 25 years of transportation, logistics and supply chain experience across a range of industry sectors. At KAG Logistics, Mike's responsibilities are focused on designing and delivering fuel management supply chain solutions and service offerings that deliver the best value for the customer.
  • Ron Fulenchek, gasoline transportation manager with 7-Eleven, has more than 28 years of experience managing transportation and operations for companies like Circle K, Sparagowski and Associates, and Broach Oil Company.
  • Oscar L. Garza, tax director with Deloitte & Touche, LLP, has over 25 years of tax industry experience, 10 of which have been with his current company where his area of focus is in motor fuels consulting and compliance. His background includes managing federal and state tax compliance for Shell (USA) and providing transaction tax advice, counsel and audit defense for General Electric.
  • Kenneth Kral, senior vice president of business development with U.S. Bank Voyager Fleet Systems, Inc., has more than 25 years of financial services experience, 10 of which have been with his current company where he has lead the successful sales and revenue growth of the commercial and government fleet card programs to record levels each year.
