Matt Tormollen

President & Chief Executive Officer - FuelQuest

Matt Tormollen brings a broad scope of experience in technology, operations and market development to his role as chief executive officer of FuelQuest. He has more than 24 years software industry experience which includes more than a decade of executive level management within successful venture-funded businesses. Matt has a proven track record for delivering highly valuable, customer and market driven solutions in the energy and transportation industries. Prior to FuelQuest, he led market and solution strategy at Pavilion Technologies, now a Rockwell Software company. Matt received a bachelor of science in information systems management from the University of Maryland.   

Phil Fraher

Chief Financial Officer  

Phil has over 20 years of leadership experience within business intelligence, data delivery, and business-to-business (B2B) software companies. As Chief Financial Officer, Phil manages the day-to-day financial and accounting operations for FuelQuest as well as leverages his extensive background to guide the company through key growth opportunities. Previously, he served as President and CEO of Visual Numerics, Inc.; performed as COO and CFO of Brightmail, Inc.; and held other financial management positions at Cahners Business Information Electronic Media Division, Pilot Software, and Dun & Bradstreet. Phil has extensive venture capital, M&A, and international business expansion experience. Phil holds an MBA from the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester and a BS in Computing Engineering at Auburn University.  

Robert Lange

Sr. Vice President Global Business Solutions

Robert Lange has served as Zytax’s senior vice president of operations and vice president of professional services since December 2003. With more than twenty-eight years of business experience and 14 implementing various ERP systems, he brings a wide range of knowledge in project management, sales and distribution, business development, finance and transportation. Lange holds a master of business administration and a bachelor of business administration from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. He has also completed executive training programs from Harvard University and Georgia Tech and is APICS Certified.

Tim Blaney

Vice President of Technology

Tim Blaney is vice president of technology for FuelQuest’s global tax solutions business offerings. He oversees all aspects of engineering including software development, quality assurance, and technical operations. Blaney has worked in application development and operations in the oil, natural gas, telecommunications and insurance sectors for more than 18 years. He is also experienced in the natural gas utilities and printing industries. Blaney is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, where he earned a bachelor of business administration degree in management information systems with an emphasis in accounting.

David Zahn

Vice President, Marketing - FuelQuest

David Zahn brings marketing, operations and technology experience to his role as vice president of marketing for FuelQuest. He has over 18 years of enterprise software, SaaS, and supply chain experience across multiple industries including banking, IT, oil & gas, retail, and telecommunications. David began his career at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) where he was an implementation consultant for leading finance and accounting software solutions including Oracle. David then held product leadership positions building leading-edge supply chain solutions at garden.com and Motive. After spearheading marketing for high-performance computing and virtualization software at United Devices, David was COO at Consero Global Solutions providing outsourced finance and accounting services to small- and mid-sized businesses (SMBs). Prior to joining FuelQuest, David was Managing Principal for The Akash Group offering strategy, marketing, and outsourcing expertise to small to medium sized businesses. David received a bachelor of art degree from Rice University and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business.

Allen Pham

Director of Professional Services

Allen Pham is the director of professional services for the global tax solution team at FuelQuest. His responsibilities include pre-sale and post-sale client engagements. This requires directly managing the day-to-day operations of the global tax solution service team, defining and implementing processes and procedures for effective delivery of client services, accurately scoping service agreements for technology consultation, application customization and support and training. Pham has extensive experience in information technology, customer service, customer relations and contract negotiation. Pham is a graduate from the University of Houston with a bachelor of business administration in management information systems with an emphasis in computer science. He is also an active participant in the open-source community by being a QA resource for various Java technologies from Sun Microsystems, the Apache Software Foundation, and the Eclipse Foundation.

Steve Shannon

Director of Product Management

Steve Shannon is a results-driven senior technology executive with extensive experience leading people and project teams through all phases of project implementation, testing and delivery. He has more than 15 years of experience in the information technology field and has successfully managed complex custom development efforts for multiple clients in performance testing, benchmark testing, enterprise application integration and custom development. Shannon graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering. He is currently working with FuelQuest as the director of product management for global tax solutions. Steve oversees the design and functionality of current and emerging Zytax products. During his career at FuelQuest, Shannon has also managed Zytax implementations for state governments and has worked to design tax solutions to accommodate various state reporting and tracking requirements.
